The Senior Account Executive (Middle Market) interacts with clients daily, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and carrier representatives. Responsibilities include preparing applications, marketing strategies for new business, and renewals with minimal supervision, often handling large, complex accounts with significant premiums and multifaceted coverages. This is a full-time remote role, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, requiring a confidential, uninterrupted workspace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Negotiate terms, coverage limits, and pricing with carriers and wholesalers.
  • Facilitate requests and needs of carriers on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with Claims Department on relevant claims.
  • Manage multi-line accounts with complex coverages, including retrospective rating plans and foreign packages.
  • Maintain follow-up systems to ensure receipt of policies, endorsements, and information.
  • Supervise and direct daily activities of Coordinators, Account Managers, and Account Executives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients through regular contact and visits.
  • Inform clients about industry trends and regulatory issues.

  • Ability to analyze and reconcile financial reports.

Education and Experience
  • BA/BS preferred.
  • Over 5 years of industry and product line experience.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registration
  • Property & Casualty Broker's License required.
  • CIC, CPCU, or other P&C designations preferred.
