Comparion Insurance Agency seeks a Commercial Insurance Specialist to help small businesses find the right coverage through consultative sales and tailored solutions. You will prospect, develop relationships with clients and referral partners, quote with multiple carriers, and place policies while coordinating renewals.

The role blends sales, service, and underwriting in a fast-paced environment in Wakefield, RI.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with common small commercial products (BOP, GL, property, commercial auto, workers’ comp, cyber, umbrella, surety/bonds).
• Experience in prospecting, networking, and driving top-of-funnel leads from multiple sources.
• Experience using agency management systems and comparative raters.

Responsibilities

• Source and develop new small commercial accounts (revenues under $10M) through prospecting, referrals, networking, and inbound leads.
• Counsel and advise prospects and policyholders on protection and coverage.
• Prepare and present quotes and proposals by obtaining quotes from multiple carriers using agency systems and carrier panels.
• Meet goals for volume of quality new business and cross-sell opportunities.
• Work with internal partners to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Build relationships with referring agents to generate COI/lead streams.
• Provide timely service for endorsements, cancellations, audits, and claims liaison.
