Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, drive retention, and support new business. The role requires coordinating day-to-day admin and customer service activities while resolving complex issues with accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, a current P&C license, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Active property & casualty (P&C) license

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned book of business and ensure retention
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities
• Resolve complex issues with no errors or omissions
• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise
• Lead daily activities of the account management team
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims and coverage analysis
• Manage policy expirations and renewals
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Communicate workload status with the account team
• Seek best practices to improve performance
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership
