Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain accounts, and support new business. You will coordinate day-to-day administration, resolve complex issues, and ensure accurate policy administration, renewals, billing, and service delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of account management experience in insurance, active P&C licensing, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience in insurance or related field.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing required; CIC or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and client service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Monitor policy expirations, renewals, and billing; analyze coverage needs.
• Prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals to clients.
• Maintain agency systems and data accuracy; ensure timely completion of tasks.
