Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2-year HVAC training (military, vocational, or apprentice).
• Journeyman HVAC license.
• Experience in commercial HVAC.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and positive attitude.
• Basic hand tools required.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Basic CMMS and BAS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, and repair chiller, boiler, and HVAC systems.
• Perform maintenance, service, repair, and installations on heating and ventilating equipment and controls.
• Execute scheduled and unscheduled work orders; report status and parts needs.
• Respond to alarms and diagnose problems; calibrate controls and BAS.
• On-call duties and support other trades when needed.
• Document work via CMMS and maintain records.
