Job summary

HES Facilities in Connecticut is seeking a Licensed HVAC Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of heating, ventilation and cooling systems in commercial settings. You will operate boilers, chillers, and BAS-enabled controls, diagnose faults, and ensure safety procedures and documentation are followed.

The role requires a Journeyman HVAC license, high school diploma or GED, and 2-year HVAC training or equivalent, along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2-year HVAC training or apprenticeship.
• Journeyman HVAC license required.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Experience in commercial HVAC systems.
• Familiar with Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Basic CMMS and BAS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, repair and install HVAC equipment as assigned.
• Perform major and routine maintenance on heating and ventilating systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on chillers and boilers.
• Respond to alarms and diagnostics in BAS.
• Complete required documentation and work orders.
• On-call duties as required.
