Job summary

Engineering Excellence is seeking an HVAC Technician to diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems, perform start-ups, and provide outstanding customer service. You will troubleshoot equipment, navigate dispatch systems on a smartphone, and assist with equipment delivery and setup in commercial environments.

The role requires reading drawings and schematics, safety compliance, and flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in the commercial HVAC field.
• EPA 608 Refrigeration license required; Universal preferred.
• Able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.
• Must be able to read and interpret service manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve customer concerns in commercial environments.
• Service and repair commercial heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Perform start-ups on equipment as required.
• Use smartphones to support business systems and dispatch communications.
• Handle equipment delivery/removal to complete service work and maintain truck stock.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Prepare material requisition forms to ensure proper stock levels.
• Perform maintenance on equipment, service IAQ products, and minor fabrication such as soldering or brazing.

Education
