Job summary

Engineering Excellence is seeking an experienced HVAC service technician to diagnose and service commercial rooftop units, boilers, ventilation, and related equipment. You will work with minimal supervision, communicate effectively with customers, and ensure high-quality service while maintaining safety protocols.

The role requires 4+ years of HVAC experience, a relevant certification, and the ability to handle physical work, travel as needed, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and 4+ years’ HVAC experience.
• Must possess valid licensing or certification as required for the geographical work area.
• Proficient with servicing commercial rooftop HVAC systems, boilers, ventilation, and related equipment.
• Strong reading of wiring diagrams and troubleshooting of electrical/refrigerant/duct systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and service on commercial rooftop HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Communicate with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Record service information using handheld device and complete required paperwork neatly.
