Job summary

Crystal Heating and Cooling is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Estimator to grow our commercial division in the Greater St. Louis area.

The role focuses on developing accurate estimates, pricing strategies, and competitive bids for complex HVAC projects, with in-office work and occasional local travel. Qualifications

• Experience in commercial HVAC estimating or mechanical contracting.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC equipment, systems, and installation methods.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and perform accurate material, equipment, and labor takeoffs.
• Experience preparing competitive bids, estimates, and project proposals.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC replacements, design-build projects, or mechanical construction.
• Understanding of project costs, vendor pricing, and profitability.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial HVAC estimates, perform takeoffs, obtain supplier pricing, and develop competitive project proposals. You'll work with our sales and operations teams to support equipment replacements, design-build projects, and commercial installations while maintaining accurate pricing and project profitability.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure profitable project outcomes and timely bid submissions.

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday through Friday

Compensation: $200,000+ annual earning potential through base salary and performance-based incentives, depending on experience, skills, and results.
