You will handle takeoffs, pricing requests, vendor coordination, and bid packaging while supporting sales and project teams through the bidding process.

• Compare quotes and identify pricing discrepancies
• Monitor addenda and adjust estimates when project requirements change

Crystal Heating and Cooling is expanding our commercial team and seeking a Commercial HVAC Takeoff and Estimating Specialist who knows how to dig into construction documents, understand the complete HVAC scope, and develop accurate estimates.

You’ll play an important role in determining which projects we pursue and how we price them. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and knowledgeable about commercial HVAC construction.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Analyze mechanical drawings, construction documents, and project specifications
• Perform detailed HVAC equipment and material takeoffs

Experience We're Looking For

• Commercial HVAC estimating, mechanical construction, or comparable industry experience
• Experience reading mechanical plans and construction specifications
• Ability to perform accurate material and equipment takeoffs
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and systems
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple bids with competing deadlines
• Comfortable using computers and learning estimating platforms
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to work in-office daily
