Job summary

Crystal Heating and Cooling seeks a Commercial HVAC Design and Estimating Sales Specialist to take opportunities from initial conversation through design, estimating, proposal, and sale. This role blends technical HVAC knowledge with business development for commercial customers.

You will build relationships with contractors and building owners, read drawings, develop design-build HVAC solutions, estimate costs, present proposals, and coordinate projects to completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial HVAC sales, estimating, design-build, or similar experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC equipment and systems.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience developing HVAC estimates or project proposals.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new commercial HVAC project opportunities.
• Build relationships with contractors, building owners, and commercial customers.
• Meet with project stakeholders to determine HVAC needs and scope.
• Review construction plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Develop design-build HVAC solutions.
• Estimate equipment, labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
• Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Create and present project proposals.
• Negotiate scope and pricing with customers.
• Coordinate successful projects with operations and project management.
• Maintain an organized pipeline of active opportunities.
