Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is seeking an Area Sales Manager I, Commercial in Dayton, OH to grow specifications with architects, engineers and specifiers. You will present METUS solutions, manage the pipeline, and travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background with 2–5 years in technical sales, strong MS Office and PowerPoint skills, and willingness to travel up to 40% for meetings and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of technical sales experience.
• Familiarity with HVAC commercial sales channels, engineers, and contractors preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend architect and engineer plans.
• Proficient with PowerPoint/Excel/Word and other Microsoft Office products.
• Proficient public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with architects, engineers and specifiers to educate about METUS products.
• Deliver educational presentations to architects, engineers, contractors, and sales channels.
• Occasional job site visits to support customers and service members.
• Enter and maintain customer data, activities, and quotations in CRM systems.
• Manage project pipeline and ensure tracking in CRM.
