Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of technical sales experience.
• Familiarity with local HVAC commercial sales channels, engineers, and contractors preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend architect and engineer plans.
• Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Word; strong public speaking skills.
• Familiarity with HVAC applications and design is preferred.
• Must reside in the Business Unit Geography (Dayton, OH area).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Team player who aligns with METUS values.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and joint sales calls to architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Deliver educational presentations to architects, engineers, contractors, and sales channels.
• Visit job sites occasionally to support customers.
• Participate in local professional groups and trade shows.
• Enter and maintain customer information, activities, and quotations in CRM systems.
• Manage project pipeline and track it in the CRM.
• Travel up to 40% for meetings and training.
• Other duties as assigned.
