Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to service commercial, industrial and residential sprinkler systems. You will receive calls from the Service Resource Center, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in accordance with manuals and safety guidelines.

The role requires 3–5 years of fire sprinkler experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to travel overnight. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of documented fire sprinkler service experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Overnight travel may be required.
• Must maintain truck inventory and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls and diagnose equipment issues.
• Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures and consult manuals.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, submittals and specifications.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and work independently.
