Addison Group in California is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to partner with Sales leadership, aligning revenue goals with margins and financial forecasting for a global manufacturing client.

You will build models, analyze profitability by customer and product line, and drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews for executives. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, delivering practical recommendations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of FP&A experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting Sales or commercial teams.
• Experience with sales forecasting, budgeting, pricing, customer and product profitability, and financial modeling.
• Understanding of how sales forecasts and customer demand connect to production, inventory, and financial performance.
• Familiarity with sales KPIs, sales productivity analysis, and commission or incentive plan modeling.
• Experience supporting month-end close, full P&L reporting, headcount planning, and executive or Board presentations.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and ability to build complex financial models.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with Sales leaders.

Responsabilités

• Provide financial analysis and decision support to Sales leadership on opportunities, pricing proposals, discounts, and terms.
• Analyze profitability by customer, product line, and sales channel to improve margins.
• Evaluate revenue and margin trends and model effects of pricing, volume, and mix.
• Support sales planning through analysis of territory and account performance and headcount needs.
• Partner with Sales and Finance leadership to evaluate commissions and incentive plans and model payouts.
• Support new product introductions and growth initiatives with financial modeling and ROI analysis.
• Lead revenue and margin forecasting with input from Sales on activity, orders, and market conditions.
• Build scenario models to assess impact of volume, pricing, mix, and timing on revenue and operating plans.
• Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for operating expenses and headcount.
• Develop sales KPIs and dashboards and prepare performance reviews for leadership.
