Job summary

Loenbro Southeast is seeking an Electrical Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial electrical construction projects across multiple locations. You will review drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, develop labor/material costs, and coordinate with project teams and vendors.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of commercial electrical estimating experience, strong reading of drawings, and proficiency with MS Office and estimating software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of commercial electrical estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for electrical systems and components.
• Develop accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare complete bid proposals and supporting documentation.
• Analyze project risks, opportunities, and scope gaps.
• Coordinate with project managers and field leadership during project handoff.
• Maintain estimating databases, labor units, and historical cost information.
