Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an Electrical Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial electrical construction projects. The role analyzes plans, specifications, labor requirements, material costs, subcontractor pricing, and schedules to develop bid proposals.

Collaborates with project managers, operations, vendors, and clients throughout bidding and preconstruction. Essential duties include reviewing documents, performing quantity takeoffs, developing cost estimates,

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and estimating tools.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specs, contracts, and bid documents.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for electrical systems and components.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor estimates.
• Solicit vendor/subcontractor quotations and prepare bid proposals.
• Analyze risks, opportunities and scope gaps; support pre-bid activities.
• Coordinate with project managers and field leadership during handoff.
