Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an Electrical Estimator to prepare cost estimates for commercial electrical projects across our Southeast operations. You will perform quantity takeoffs, analyze plans, and develop labor, material, and subcontractor costs while coordinating with project teams.

The role requires reading drawings, familiarity with NEC codes, and proficiency with estimating tools. This full-time position offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth within Loenbro\'s expanding markets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of commercial electrical estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of commercial electrical systems, methods, and materials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specs, contracts, and bid documents.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for electrical systems and components.
• Develop accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare complete bid proposals and supporting documentation.
• Analyze project risks, opportunities, and scope gaps.
• Coordinate with project managers and field leadership during handoff.
