Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Rental Credit Specialist to analyze credit worthiness across Ryder's Rental, National Rental and FMG groups.

You will provide credit recommendations to local management to support sales growth while mitigating risk, handling multiple product lines. Key duties include reviewing credit requests, analyzing financial statements, and communicating with sales, collections and operations on high-risk accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or 3 years equivalent business work experience.
• Two years or more experience in commercial credit.
• Two years or more experience in financial statement analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review credit requests for new customers and increases in credit lines.
• Review credit reports, Ryder history, and financial statements.
• Determine credit line and action plan to reduce rentals if needed.
• Notify loss prevention, collections, sales, and operations on high risk accounts.
• Verify critical documentation and security from customers.
• Assist with Credit Hold Mailbox and related tasks.
