Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a Global Payments Solutions Payment Operational Support Lead to oversee day-to-day processing for Commercial Card Payments across onshore and offshore teams. You will ensure policies, controls, and regulatory deadlines are met while driving operational rigor and client journey improvements.

You’ll partner with Product, Service and Technology to deliver change, identify efficiencies and manage risks, maintaining strong communication across stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bring banking expertise including reconciliation and US Commercial Card Payments knowledge.
• Hands-on experience in Commercial Card Payment Operations and control activity.
• Problem-solving and risk management to identify issues early and fix them.
• Strong communication across varied stakeholders and teams.
• Experience coordinating onshore and offshore delivery across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workflow across onshore and offshore teams supporting Commercial Card Payment Operations.
• Oversee BAU activity ensuring policies, controls and escalations are handled effectively.
• Lead delivery to meet SLAs and regulatory deadlines; handle ad-hoc requests.
• Identify efficiencies and strengthen coverage using card payments and reconciliation.
• Partner with Product, Service and Technology for projects and testing.
• Resolve issues by evaluating root causes, risks and practical solutions.
• Build partnerships across businesses to improve client journeys.
