Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Senior Program Optimization Consultant - Commercial Cards to drive growth and retain key client programs across a global portfolio. You will articulate client needs, align solutions, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver revenue-enhancing outcomes.

The role requires strong knowledge of Commercial Card products, executive-level communication across regions, and the ability to manage multiple time zones and complex client initiatives.

Qualifications

• MBA or bachelor’s in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience in a Commercial Card environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial card products and trends.
• Client-facing consulting experience with executive-level engagement across regions.
• Experience in Commercial Card solution selling and fitting products to client business issues.
• Track record of maximizing revenues through effective card program optimization.
• Advanced problem-solving and time management across a busy client portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Manage, design and execute program growth across a Commercial Card client portfolio
• Strengthen program retention and support the introduction of new products and solutions
• Collaborate across internal teams to deliver optimal outcomes for clients and the organization
• Run quarterly business reviews with clients to assess performance, identify opportunities and align priorities
• Partner with Sales and Banking teams to identify cross-sell opportunities and support revenue expansion initiatives
• Build a clear understanding of major client initiatives, operating procedures and organization structures to inform solution delivery
• Coordinate deployment of HSBC products and propositions in line with agreed client goals
• Shape Commercial Card solutions by mapping products and services to client business issues
