Carter Lumber in Sanford, NC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative (Commercial/Multi-Family) to build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and remodelers. You will sell our full line of building materials and installed services, and manage each job after sale.

This role rewards proactive communication, strategic follow-through, and a proven sales mindset, with commission-based earning potential and room to grow within a multi-billion-dollar family-owned company.

Competenze

• Commercial/Multi-Family sales experience required
• Knowledge of home building basics
• Create material estimates/quotes and special orders
• Open new accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis
• Learn to read blueprints and provide material take off lists
• Ability to work independently
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Attend HBA/builder/company functions as required

Mansioni

• Sell full line of building materials and installed services to local contractors, builders and remodelers.
• Manage each sold job and maintain the customer relationship.
• Visit job sites as needed and maintain schedules.
• Collect and keep up-to-date information on customer product use and trends.
• Communicate effectively to drive sales and client satisfaction.
