Job summary

F&M Bank is seeking a Commercial Ag Loan Assistant to support loan closings and maintain accurate loan documentation. You will work with Portfolio Managers and bankers to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes accuracy, trustworthiness, and the ability to manage multiple loan files while providing excellent customer service to commercial clients in a community banking setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2 years of related experience or training with Commercial Ag Loan documentation, or equivalent combination of education and experience along with computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Auditing customer profiles for taxes, financial statements, and required IDs/documents.
• Coordinate with Portfolio Managers and Commercial Ag Bankers on loan requirements.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Enter data in MS Word and MS Excel and other software as needed.
• Organize financial information to evaluate credit worthiness of loan applicants.
