Job summary

AAA Northern California is seeking an ambitious Commercial Account Executive to drive new business across a multi-state territory from Temp e, AZ to other regions. You will build strategic plans, prospect aggressively, and close complex security and building solutions leveraging our trusted brand.

In this role you will partner with Sales Engineering, deliver clear proposals, and manage end-to-end opportunities while maintaining rigorous CRM discipline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of outbound B2B consultative sales experience with quotas.
• Self-generating prospecting, door-knocking, and cold outreach; do not rely on inbound leads.
• Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation and closing with executives, owners, and managers.
• Understanding of contract margins, pricing, and Monthly Recurring Revenue (RMR).
• Desire to geek out on modern smart-building tech and cloud analytics.

Responsibilities

• Territory strategy and new business development across designated regions.
• Executive discovery, site audits, and field surveys.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering on system design and validation.
• Deliver integrated building tech solutions and value-based proposals.
• Lead opportunities through discovery to contract execution and handoff.
• Maintain real-time CRM records and accurate forecast dates.
