Job summary

Raba Kistner, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a detail-oriented CoMET Department Manager to lead construction materials projects.

You will propose, sell, direct and execute projects within budget, coordinate field observations, and interpret data to prepare reports. You will manage CoMET staff and contribute to marketing efforts, support the Geotechnical and Facilities groups, and ensure safety programs are followed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; valid driver's license and insurability.
• 8–10 years' geotechnical/construction materials project management experience; 5–10 years supervisory and P&L management.
• ABET-accredited degree preferred; Texas PE license preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Executive and Manager of CoMET staff, overseeing projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate materials testing with subcontractors and field staff; ensure timely reports.
• Mentor staff, support office marketing, and assist in forensic investigations as needed.
• Support Geotechnical and Facilities groups; expand service scope and excellence.
