Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university.
• Texas PE license required; if from another state, TX license within six months of hire.
• 3–5 years’ CoMET experience with geotechnical services and 1–3 years of project management.
• Competent understanding of construction plans and specs; good construction practices for review of reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager on CoMET projects from start to finish.
• Provide mentorship and professional development to staff.
• Coordinate materials testing with subcontractors and field staff.
• Prepare laboratory-testing assignments in line with testing programs.
• Review field data and lab results for client reports.
• Submit draft and final reports for review and co-signature.
• Perform field observations and support safety program implementation.
• Review prebilling invoices and prepare proposals as assigned.
• Directly supervise 2+ employees and participate in professional organizations.
• Communicate with clients about invoicing and payment status.
