Qualifications

One year retail or other sales-focused experience.
Licensed cosmetologist preferred in US and Canada.
Reliable transportation to service designated store and market.
Ability to travel to shows and sales meetings at least 3 times per year.
Strong business acumen and ability to read and act on sales reporting.
Working knowledge of retail sales, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
Strong knowledge of POS applications.
Proficient with computers, iPads, mobile devices and social media.

Responsibilities

Determine customer color and care needs and offer professional advice and recommendations.
Communicate with internal teams regarding calls, visits, orders, status and follow-up plans.
Resolve customer concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Maintain color and curl merchandising, signage, and display to meet brand guidelines.
Stay informed on emerging trends and adapt selling techniques accordingly.
Assist with store opening/closing procedures and cash handling as needed.
Demonstrate Sally Beauty’s Culture Values and ethics.
