Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring a Technical Trainer to deliver comprehensive training programs for repair technicians and staff. The role involves coaching, assessing capabilities at various centers, and collaborating with regional leaders to close training gaps.

You may travel across markets up to 30–70% and must ensure compliance with company standards and QC processes. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in the collision/repair industry, with at least 2 years of training delivery experience

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of independently planning and organizing work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate, motivate and cooperate with all levels of staff.
• Knowledge of computer applications including Internet, Google platform, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training programs in assigned areas.
• Coach repair center staff, especially technicians, to improve capabilities.
• Coordinate with regional leadership to address training gaps.
• Visit repair centers to assess technicians’ knowledge and skills.
• Develop and improve training clinics to ensure consistent messaging.
• Ensure adherence to WOW plan and QC processes.
