Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver training programs and coach technicians across repair centers. You will assess technician capabilities, recommend class improvements, and collaborate with leadership to enhance technical skills.

The role requires 5–7 years of industry experience with 2+ years in delivering training, plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 30–70% to support centers.

Qualifications

• At least 5–7 years industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience delivering training preferred.
• Completed post-secondary studies preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Applicable industry certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training programs and coaching for technicians.
• Visit repair centers to assess technician knowledge and skills.
• Provide feedback to leadership and recommend improvement classes.
• Ensure compliance with QC processes and train clinics network-wide.
• Develop technician trainees and improve training clinics.
• Stay current on repair processes and techniques.
• Perform program assessments and document training outcomes.
