Job summary

Crash Champions in Center Line, MI is seeking an experienced Estimator to educate customers about the repair process, insurance procedures, and rights. You will complete initial estimates, write final estimates after full damage evaluation, and manage each repair to uphold Crash Champions’ quality standards.

You will keep customers informed, review data with Body Technicians, handle post-scanning steps, pre-close the repair order, and address paperwork to ensure carrier requirements are met

Qualifications

• Customer Service skills and ability to communicate clearly with customers and insurers.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced shop environment.
• Knowledge of dealing with insurance partners preferred.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with multiple estimating systems; CCC One preferred, Mitchell and Audatex experience.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on the repair process, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value.
• Complete initial estimates, write final estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates.
• Manage each repair throughout the process and ensure quality standards via in-process QC.
• Keep every customer informed on the status of their vehicle and provide the best possible experience.
• Review data procedures with Body Technicians and complete post-scanning steps for each vehicle.
• Pre-close the final repair order, handle disbursement paperwork, address exceptions, and ensure carrier requirements are met.
