Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Buffalo Grove near Chicago is seeking an Estimator to deliver an exceptional customer experience while accurately assessing vehicle damage, creating estimates, and coordinating repair needs with customers and insurers.

You will participate in daily production walks, ensure DRP and insurance requirements are met, and support the team to achieve facility KPIs while maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Awareness of where to look for answers
• Basic Computer Skills
• Compliance for DRP’s Minimum of 1-year experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details
• Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members
• Participate in daily production walks with the Management Team
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager
