Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Columbus, GA is seeking an Estimator to provide an exceptional customer experience while creating detailed damage appraisals, coordinating repairs, and communicating with customers and insurers throughout the process. You will assess vehicle damage, document needed repairs, and support team KPIs while maintaining accurate records.

A High School diploma and DRP familiarity, plus basic computer skills, are required; willingness to complete I-CAR training and a valid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Awareness of where to look for answers.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Compliance for DRP’s Minimum of 1-year experience.
• Willing to complete I-CAR Training.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details.
• Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with all WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery.
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.
• Provide positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone.
• Understanding of all required Insurance programs and procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with the Management Team, as required.
• Support all team members when required.
• Attend Health & Safety and staff meetings as required.
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager.
