Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Kalamazoo, MI seeks an Estimator to assess vehicle damage, create repair estimates and coordinate with customers and insurance providers. You’ll document repairs, communicate needs, and help ensure a smooth customer experience across the repair process.

The role requires knowledge of repairs, DRP compliance, and I-CAR training readiness, with a High School Diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license is required and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Awareness of where to look for answers
• Basic Computer Skills
• Compliance for DRP’s Minimum of 1-year experience
• Must be willing to complete I-CAR Training
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Document and update customer interactions accurately
• Provide information and guide customers through repair process
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and metrics
• Align with WOW Operating Ways for drop-offs, planning, and communication
• Communicate customer requests to team members
• Greet customers with positive energy in person and on phone
• Participate in daily production walks with Management
• Support team members when required
• Attend health & safety and staff meetings as needed
• Attend training and information sessions when recommended by Store Manager
