Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Tyler, TX is seeking a General Manager to lead the collision center, drive customer satisfaction, and oversee daily operations. You will coach staff, manage budgets, and ensure KPI targets and insurance metrics are met in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leadership experience in collision repair, familiarity with CCC1 and Mitchell systems, and strong financial and operational acumen. A strong focus on service quality and safety is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of the WOW plan.
• Manage annual and monthly operating budget.
• Forecast and track monthly sales, profit and expenses.
• Deliver formal and informal performance reviews.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable for the center.
• Maintain a clean, organized repair facility.
• Oversee shop equipment maintenance including the paint booth.
• Provide staff training as needed.
• Enforce safety gear and dress code.
• Open/close facility daily.
• Conduct daily production meetings and verify throughput.
• Manage repair estimates to keep labor mix within standards.
• Lead and manage repair facility personnel.
• Coordinate health, safety and staff meetings; attend monthly managers meetings.
• Attend trainings and information sessions as advised by leadership.
• Track CSI performance and follow up within 24 hours.
