Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks a General Manager to lead the collision center’s daily operations, drive exceptional customer experience, and coach a diverse team to meet KPIs and insurance metrics. You will manage scheduling, staffing, safety, and training while upholding high standards of professionalism across the customer journey.

The role emphasizes profit and performance management, team leadership, and continuous improvement in a well-established repair operation.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.
• Post-Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Clear verbal and written communication; able to motivate others with coaching.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.
• Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.
• Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.
• Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.
• Provide training for all staff as necessary.
• Open and close the facility daily as per established procedures.
• Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to confirm through-put and delivery dates.
