Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Estimator to provide accurate damage appraisals and coordinate repair needs, while maintaining clear communication with customers and insurance companies.

The ideal candidate will assess vehicle damage, document repairs, and help drive KPIs in a fast-paced shop environment, with opportunities for professional growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year DRP experience preferred.
• Familiarity with DRP processes.
• Willingness to complete I-CAR training.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details.
• Provide customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring excellent service.
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery.
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.
• Provide positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone.
• Understand all required Insurance programs and procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with the Management Team as required.
• Support all team members when required.
• Attend monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings if required.
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager
