Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cook to accurately prepare and present a variety of hot and cold items for meals and events. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring food safety and quality while maintaining an organized station. Responsibilities may vary by account and client requirements.

You will follow Sodexo culinary standards, support teamwork, and contribute to an exceptional dining experience. The role requires standing long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating kitchen equipment

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current standards to ensure high-quality service.
• Follow recipes and guidelines for preparing and serving a variety of foods.
• Estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records for planning.
• Significant walking or other mobility is required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
