Zusammenfassung

Sodexo Group is seeking a Cook to accurately prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold items for meals and events in a fast-paced kitchen, following Sodexo culinary standards for quality, presentation, and safety. You will help maintain a clean workstation and support teamwork while upholding high sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include following recipes, preparing dishes, and ensuring production meets client requirements.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Aufgaben

• Prepare food in accordance with current applicable standards to ensure high-quality food service.
• Follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing and serving a variety of foods.
• Estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records to plan production and requisition supplies.
• Significant walking or other mobility.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8+ hours).
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
• Attend and be punctual for scheduled shifts.
• Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.
