Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cook I to accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold items for all meals and events. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, follow Sodexo culinary standards, and maintain a clean workstation while upholding food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities include following recipes, estimating production, and supporting teamwork. Flexible shifts with room for growth and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current standards to ensure high-quality service.
• Follow recipes and product directions for cooking and serving items.
• Estimate food requirements and requisition supplies to plan production.
• Significant walking or mobility required.
• Long periods of standing and walking during shifts.
