Job summary

Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union is seeking a service-minded individual for an on-site position focused on delinquency management and collections support. You will monitor payments, contact members, and document all interactions to keep accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of collection or credit union experience is preferred.
• Experience collecting on multiple loan products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor payments for late and/or delinquency status.
• Follow up on delinquent accounts via phone, text, or letters.
• Communicate urgency to members regarding delinquent accounts.
• Collect on delinquent accounts and document interactions for records.
• Order appropriate collection letters per guidelines.
• Apply FDCPA rules in all communications.
• Identify extensions or workout loans and assist with negotiations for approval.
• Perform skip tracing using reports, search engines, social media, and vendor systems.
• Maintain understanding of payment and insurance vendor systems.
• Follow all Credit Union policies and procedures.
