Collections Specialist I - Full Time - Orlando, FL - Hybrid

Location: Orlando, FL - Hybrid - 2966 Commerce Park Dr., Suite 300, Orlando, FL 32819

What You'll Be Doing
  • Complete a high volume of outbound collection calls and emails daily
  • Contact customers with professionalism and knowledgeable information
  • Update and maintain all customer records by documenting the collection account status in multiple computer systems
  • Monitor client accounts and reconcile in a timely manner
  • Print PDFs of voices and statements from computer systems and email to clients
  • Take credit card payments or E-check payments over the phone
  • Build relationships with customers' accounts payable departments to facilitate timely payments
  • Communicate with team members to improve department procedures
  • Reach corporate collection goals
  • Complete ad-hoc audit or research projects as needed
  • Handle tasks from the inbox
  • Manage the letter campaign by adding and removing flags
  • Reduce the number of accounts with zero payments in the assigned portfolio
  • Assist with credit holds
What You Need
  • Preferred 5 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Excel (including v-lookup, filter, sort, pivot)
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Able to multi-task
  • Strong computer skills
  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Motivated to achieve individual and team goals
