Job summary

The Aaron’s Family of Companies is seeking a Customer Accounts Advisor in Michigan to coach customers, drive payment collections and lease renewals, and build relationships by phone or in person to move customers toward ownership of their merchandise.

The role emphasizes strong communication, empathy, and the ability to handle difficult conversations, with a schedule that may include hours from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm and eligibility for performance-based incentive pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.
• DOT certification if required in location (US).
• Able to work hours 8:00 am–9:00 pm.
• Lift up to 50 lbs unaided and up to 300 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Customer Accounts Manager in achieving revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Load and secure product and safely operate the company vehicle.
• Clean and certify returned merchandise.
