Job summary

GLS is seeking a results-driven collections specialist to manage a portfolio of delinquent auto loan accounts on-site in Greenville, SC. You will contact customers, discuss payment options, and negotiate arrangements to resolve delinquencies while meeting performance targets.

The ideal candidate has experience in collections or auto finance, strong communication, and the ability to balance empathy with accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage conflict and build rapport with customers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Previous collections or auto finance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of delinquent auto loan accounts.
• Contact customers to discuss payment options and resolve delinquency.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and other account solutions.
• Research customer information and assist with loss mitigation activities.
• Document customer interactions accurately in company systems.
