LHH US in Riverview, FL is seeking a Collections Specialist for a contract-to-hire role on-site. You will manage high-volume B2B/B2C collections within an assigned portfolio, aim to meet AR targets, review accounts daily, and coordinate with Cash Application, Billing, and Legal departments.

The position requires at least two years in high-volume collections, a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), and proven resilience in a call-center or corporate environment.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Experience with high volume of B2B or B2C collection accounts in a call center or corporate environment
• High school education or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
• Two years or more experience in high volume collections

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day high-volume collections processes for all accounts in the assigned portfolio
• Meet targets in collections (aging AR, collection activity)
• Review accounts daily and escalate troubled accounts to the Manager
• Lead AR review meetings with Service Centers
• Reconcile accounts and address billing discrepancies with Billing
• Report misapplied payments to Cash Application
• Research unapplied on-account payments and support reconciliations
• Report duplicates/overpayments and coordinate refunds with Cash Application and customers
• Coordinate with Legal for timely filing of Lien and Bond claims when applicable

Pay: $20-23/hour

Overview of Position (Please read all requirements before applying)

• Responsible for leading the day-to-day high volume of collections processes of all accounts within assigned portfolio.
• Meet targets in collections (e.g., aging of accounts receivable, collection activity volume)
• Review accounts daily and communicate troubled accounts and escalate potential risk to Manager
• Lead periodic AR review meetings with Service Centers
• Account reconciliations; reviewing, researching, and submitting issues with customer billing discrepancies and adjustments to the Billing department for correction.
• Report misapplied payments to the Cash Application department.
• Research unapplied on-account payments, assisting the Cash Application department with account reconciliations.
• Report duplicate and overpayments timely, work with the Cash Application department, ensuring customers are notified, and refunds processed timely.
• Work closely with the Legal department for timely filing of all Lien and Bond claims when applicable.
• Qualifications and Competencies:
• REQUIRED: Experience with high volume of B2B or B2C collection accounts in a call center or business/corporate environment ONLY.
• High school education or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
• Two years or more experience in high volume collections

Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
