Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Collections Analyst for a hybrid role based in Bayport, MN. You will join a collaborative team and help develop and execute effective collection strategies to improve cash flow and strengthen customer relationships.

The position offers growth opportunities and exposure across multiple business functions. Eligibility for benefits applies to this temporary contract role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is required.
• 6 months or more experience in Accounting, Customer Service, Credit & Collections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute collections strategies within company policies to address slow payments and unauthorized deductions.
• Identify and elevate continued customer issues and high-risk accounts in compliance with company practices.
• Build professional relationships with customers as part of the collections portfolio.
• Communicate in a timely and professional manner with documentation and support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Cash Application, A/P, Order Dept, Sales, Transportation, Logistics, Credit & Returns, and MDM.
• Partner with Sales to understand customer payment issues and credit holds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute collections strategies within company policies to address slow payments and unauthorized deductions.
• Identify and elevate continued customer issues and accounts deemed high-risk in compliance with company practices and policies.
• Build professional and effective relationships with customers as part of the assigned collections portfolio.
• Communicate in a timely and professional manner with appropriate documentation and support.
• Establish cross-functional relationships to provide world-class customer service and problem resolution, including collaboration with Cash Application, A/P, Order Dept, Sales, Transportation, Logistics, Credit & Returns, and MDM.
• Partner effectively with the Sales organization to ensure understanding of customer payment issues and credit holds.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related is required.
• 6mo+ experience in Accounting, Customer Service, Credit & Collections preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bayport, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.84/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
