Job summary

Stay Safe Alert is seeking a Collection Specialist and Customer Service professional to monitor accounts for overdue payments, research client history, and communicate with customers to secure payments.

The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, be able to work with limited supervision, and maintain accurate records while complying with debt collection laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required, a college degree is preferred
• Previous experience as a Collection Specialist or in a similar position
• Understanding of collection techniques
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, and computer databases
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
