Job summary

WasteFree in Denton, TX is hiring for evening trash collection. You’ll use your own pickup truck to collect residential waste in multi-family communities, document conditions with our app, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Shifts are Sundays to Thursdays from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, paid at $20 per hour with bonus opportunities and incentives. Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, a smartphone, and be currently employed full-time.

Qualifications

• Own a pickup truck and be willing to use it for trash collection.
• Valid state driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Smartphone with data plan.
• Currently employed full-time.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Punctuality, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs, navigate stairs, and walk distances.

Responsibilities

• Document the condition of dumpsters/compactors on arrival using our Service App.
• Collect household trash and recycling from residential units within assigned communities.
• Document violations and unit numbers by taking photos and submitting them with your Work Log at the end of each shift.
• Track and report any issues or concerns to your district manager.

Requirements

• Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license and vehicle insurance
• Have a smartphone with a data plan
• Currently employed full-time
• Willingness to learn, receptive to coaching, and ability to follow instructions
• Punctuality, dependability, and a strong work ethic
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs, navigate stairs, and walk distances
• Positive attitude is a must
