Job summary

WasteFree in Argyle, Texas, is hiring a Part Time Trash Collection Specialist to collect residential trash and recycling in multi-family communities during Sunday to Thursday evenings, 8:00 PM–11:00 PM. Paid training and growth opportunities are included.

Candidates must own a pickup truck and have a valid driver’s license and insurance, plus a smartphone with data. Pay is $20 per hour with opportunities for bonuses and advancement. Training provided.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs, navigate stairs, and walk distances

Responsibilities

• Document dumpster/compactor condition upon arrival using Service App
• Collect household trash and recycling from residential units within assigned multi-family communities
• Document violations and unit numbers by taking photos and submitting them with the Work Log at shift end
• Track and report issues to district manager

Requirements:

• Own a pick-up truck and be willing to utilize it for trash collection.
• Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license and vehicle insurance
• Have a smartphone with a data plan
• Currently employed full-time
• Willingness to learn, receptive to coaching, and ability to follow instructions
• Punctuality, dependability, and a strong work ethic
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs, navigate stairs, and walk distances
• Positive attitude is a must

Responsibilities:

• Upon arrival, document the condition of dumpsters/compactors using our Service App
• Collect household trash and recycling from residential units within assigned multi-family communities
• Document violations and unit numbers by taking photos and submitting them with your Work Log at the end of each shift
• Track and report any issues or concern to your district manager.
