Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products across cold-storage facilities. You will use sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach equipment, RF scanners, and pallet jacks to move goods, while adhering to safety standards and quality controls.

Role requires the ability to work in freezer/cooler environments, and may involve overtime or weekend hours. High school diploma or GED and 3 months related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick orders, and verify accuracy.
• Operate equipment safely per OSHA standards and maintain a clean work area.
• Meet production standards while ensuring safety and inventory accuracy.
