Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products in our temperature-controlled facility. You will operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks to move goods while maintaining high safety standards.

This full-time, on-site role requires attention to detail and the ability to work overtime as needed. You may perform inventory tasks, cleaning, and other duties to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload freight using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise; pick and assemble orders for shipment; check for accuracy and damage.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely to meet production standards.
• Meet production goals while maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and forklift battery changes as needed.
